Our Scouting sections at Ashington

Beavers are aged between 6 and 8 years and meet once a week on a Thursday night. They do lots of fun things, singing, playing games, going on visits, arts and crafts and most importantly making new friends. The Beaver section programme lives up to its motto “fun & friends”. Beaver parents are asked to help at a minimum of two meetings each year as part of a weekly parents Rota to help provide the games and activities safely. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much fun you can have along side the leaders. Beavers often join up with other Beavers in the area for activities. Awards and badges are achieved by undertaking a well managed programme of activities.
